Logging In
When an individual signs up for the website for either a paid subscription or in the case of a counselor, a free subscription, this is the registration page that a person will fill out. Counselors
have an additional page which allows a counselor to input information about his/her district. |

Member Home Page
When a parent/student or school district signs up for a subscription this page will be the home page or the “Members Home.” From the home page a person can see a brief description of all the pages
that can be accessed in the site. When clicking on any of the maroon tabs on the tool bar, additional tab or page choices will drop down as a selection option.

College Information
Click on the “College Information” tab in order to get to the “College Home Page” tab. The College Information page provides the student with a variety of database links to help evaluate and select
the college of choice. At the bottom of this page we provide a map of the US in which a student can select the state of choice and then view that states colleges by clicking on the link provided.
This resource page allows the student to go directly to the college of choice or complete a profile in order to match a student with a college based on the information he/she selects. |

ACT Information
When choosing the “ACT” link, you will be forwarded to the ACT Information page. This page contains direct links to specific information on the ACT site. From the EPAS program to frequently asked
ACT related questions, this page promotes the importance of early participation and continued enhancement opportunities. This page also includes a table of college prep resource sites and software
as well as a layman’s chart discussing the differences in the ACT and SAT. We have also provided helpful handouts concerning testing. |

Athlete Information
This page provides a basic tutorial on how and what students and parents need to be doing when planning for athletic recruitment. The page also contains links to athlete referral companies that
are proven to provide “legitimate” services for students. However, because of my background in athletics, I believe the school and parents can do what is necessary to help the child without the use
of the athletic referral companies. We have also posted links to the all important Clearinghouse information and sites. |

Writing Essays
From the “College Information” tab click on the “Essay” link to find a number of links to help students when they begin the all important collegiate essay writing. There are both free and pay sites
on this page to help students prepare his/her essay. There are also printable handouts to further educate students on preparing the admissions essay. |

SAT Information
From “College Information” select the “SAT” link and you will see information concerning the SAT1 and SAT 2 with direct links to the Collegeboard site. We also have a discussion about the PSAT/NMASQT.
Like the ACT page, the SAT page includes links to specific college preparatory resources and sites as well as a chart discussing the differences in the ACT and SAT. We have several handouts relating
to the SAT provided by CollegeMasters. |

Scholarship Information
This page is a very extensive scholarship resource page. “The TASSEL Time Must Read Scholarship Information” checklist is provided in PDF format for all students. This resource page provides the
best scholarship database tools, scholarship scam information, and individual scholarship information links. There is also a link provided to specific state scholarship information which includes
links to specific state database tools and scholarships. |

Career Information
By again clicking on the “Careers” link you will find yourself at the Career Information Resource center. This page provides you with a variety of specific links as well as links to free interest
inventory assessment tools. The links on this page help a student begin exploring the different career opportunities. |

Financial Aid Information
The financial aid resource page presents tutorial type information on the importance of the FAFSA as well as a variety of specific links to help students determine and apply for financial aid |

Where to Start - Parent Information
The “Where to Start” page discusses the importance of starting early in helping children increase his/her learning opportunities and successes. This page also includes a link to research information
defining the importance of reading at an early age. At the bottom of this page there is an additional opportunity to read a brief description of the pages in the site. |

Parents of 3rd - 6th Grades
After clicking on the “Parent Info" link, the “3rd-6th grade” tab presents a page in which parents of this age group can directly access information about the Duke University Talent Identification
Program (TIP). This page explains the talent search, the explore test and enrichment opportunities and sites. The subject or content links at the bottom of the page give parents an opportunity to
have access to links designed to enhance their child’s learning experience. Subject content links and educational game sites make this page additionally beneficial to elementary and secondary
teachers. |

Parents of 7th - 12th Grades
The “7th-12th grade” page continues the discussion on the TIP program with direct links to information about the Explore and Plan tests. There is also a very basic discussion about the importance of
course selection beginning in the 8th grade and continuing through the 12th grade. The discussion gives examples on the importance of knowing the admissions requirements of the college of choice. |
