THEA Foundation Scholarships<\/a> are available in the areas of Visual Arts, Performing
\nArts, Creative Writing, Fashion Design, Slam Poetry, & Film. Scholarships are for
\nArkansas graduating seniors and sometimes the school the student attends will match
\nthe THEA scholarship. Scholarships range from $2,000 – $4,000. Each area has it\u2019s own
\nonline registration deadline AND competition date. Our own Jasmine Willis (AHS graduate 2019) is
\nfeatured on the website. For any student who has a hobby in any of these areas, you are strongly
\nencouraged to apply! For more information, please visit https:\/\/www.theafoundation.org\/scholarships<\/a>.
\nApplications vary by subject area from mid-February to late March 2020.<\/p>\n

Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship<\/b><\/a><\/h4>\n

Deadline:<\/b> 1\/30\/20 Available to:<\/b> High School Freshmen through Graduate Students, Year 5 Award Amount:<\/b> $1,000 The Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship is available to high school, undergraduate or graduate students. You must be U.S. citizen or legal resident and submit a 140-character message that relates to technology addiction to qualify for this award. BMW\/SAE Engineering Scholarship<\/a> \u2013 1 scholarship will be awarded each year for $1500\/ year &
\nthe scholarship may be renewed at $1500 a year for 3 additional years (total award $6000). This annual
\nscholarship is provided by BMW AG in recognition of its commitment to excellence in engineering.
\nEligibility Requirements: U.S. resident, 3.75 or better GPA on a 4.0 scale, Rank in the 90th percentile in
\nboth math & critical reading on SAT I or composite ACT scores, Pursue an engineering or related
\nscience degree through an ABET accredited program. For more information, please visit

Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship<\/b><\/a><\/h4>\n

Deadline:<\/b> 1\/17\/20 Available to:<\/b> High School Seniors through College Freshmen Award Amount:<\/b> $10,000 The Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship is open to current high school seniors who are currently enrolled in or who have completed an advanced placement computer science course or who have taken an advanced placement computer science test, be planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program majoring in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering or other computer-related field of study and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in order to be considered for this award.
